It’s that time again!
WebBlast is back for another evening of networking and generally catching up with old acquaintances. Proudly supported by Anchor Hosting, Happener, Sassy SEO, Microsoft and Campaign Monitor, it will be at the Pumphouse Bar in Darling Harbour as usual – full details below.
Date: Thurs 24 June 2010
Time: 6pm – 11pm
Venue: Pumphouse Bar, Darling Harbour
Cost: FREE!!
Tickets will be made available at midday today – that’s Friday the 18th of June. You’ll need to come here for the link. According to past experience, they’ll be gone pretty quickly, although we are increasing capacity this time. There will be a limit of 4 per person, and if you find you can’t make it nearer the time, please recycle them to give other people a chance to attend.
If you haven’t been before, the Pumphouse is an excellent venue and there’s plenty of room to spread out and chat with your peers. There will be a free bar (until the tab runs out!) and also finger food provided through the night.
WebBlast has become a regular networking event on the calendar for all of us who love doing web the right way, and we look forward to seeing you all next week to share thoughts and experiences!

OK, after a bit of planning the next webblast is now booked in, so add this to your calendar:
Date: 24 June 2010
Time: 6pm – 11pm
Venue: Pumphouse, Darling Harbour
Cost: FREE!!
Still tightening up some details, so keep your twitter-ears peeled and your grapevine sensors poised as the “tickets” from the last event sold out in a few hours. Yes I know it is a free event to participants, but all the same, we have to restrict the numbers. A full announcement to follow once all the sponsors are signed and we get the eventbrite page completed.
As usual, the evening will be an eclectic mix of cross- industry professionals, from designers, developers and sysadmins to producers, architects, suits and creatives; with the odd CTO, recruiter or journalist thrown in. The venue, the ever welcoming and salubriously stocked Pumphouse in Darling Harbour, with it’s extensive beer menu and comfortable couch areas contributes to the conversations. The sponsors will be supplying a drink or two, and some bar nibbles but the rest is up to you. The purpose of the evening is to catch up with colleagues and industry connections and make a few more while you’re there.
In the meantime,. we plan on some improvements to this site, some additional features and services, as well as some wonderful suprises and prizes on the night.
Looking forward to it!
